Vanaf 11 februari 2026 worden de toiletten niet gespoeld, dus het was vol, geen toiletpapier. De douche voor het wassen van je handen werkt ook niet.

Lovely spot and great location for the hikes around Mt Thomas. Grassy area is good but toilets still out of order. Dixie loo very full (not nice!). And yes, many sand flies. Still worth staying there, especially if you have a self-contained van.

Peaceful spot but very patchy 4g reception. Mostly grassy and rutted where people have struggled to get out. Ground still soft so need to take care and avoid completely in wet conditions unless you have 4wd, or chains. Will be closed 1st fortnight Oct while the loo gets fixed. Be great if they lay some gravel bays and on the access tracks while they're at it.

Een schilderachtige plek, een mooi uitzicht op het platteland. Veel zandvliegen in de avond. Stel tussen hoge bomen, zodat sommige tenten een beetje verduisterd kunnen worden. De belangrijkste toiletten zijn uit de actie vanwege sceptische tankproblemen, een lange-drop toilet is voorzien, het was schoon maar een beetje ruikend.

Stayed one night here, the grass in the further back area ( near toilets) was mown and the ground was flat. Flushing toilets were out of order, one alternate toilet was available but not very clean. Bugs were an issue, bring repellant. DOC rangers were onsite in the morning checking in on things. Note, the drive up to this is a long gravel road; it feels like you are driving the wrong way entirely. A quiet site with minimal facilities but pleasant for a night if self-contained

We hadden onlangs drie geweldige nachten hier! Zeer rustig en rustig en mooi uitzicht. Er is een lagere en hogere sectie om te kamperen! Het kan een beetje ongemakkelijk zijn na veel regen. Sommige echt goede wandelingen van hier! Niet zeker over de wc-situatie, maar de blokken zijn er nog steeds. Goed signaal op telefoon en TV. Mooie plek!! DOC Campsite Pass is hier geldig. @tasmantravels

Verbracht twee heerlijke nachten hier. geen water en geen spoeling toiletten als gevolg van het voortdurende probleem met sceptische tank, maar lange druppel en chemische toiletten daar.

Spot is ok. te veel bugs tho.

Geweldige plek veel verschillende campinggebieden onthouden bug spray en veel van het zal zeker terugkomen
