Yea, some pricks always park here outside the hours so it's hard outside of winter, go call DOC to give them a fine if you feel like it. ALSO! Hanmer amenity area is also for not certified vehicles if you are looking for a place, currently incorrectly marked as self contained only in campermate. Emailed DOC who said its only the area 500m further up the road that is self contained only as toilets aren't close even though the road seems to be currently closed to go further up.

Lovely place. Only 2 spaces. Me and my wife waited in a normal car park just next to them from 12pm, went to the pools at 6pm. When we came back around 7pm to park our van, it was full. It pissed us off that we waited so long. You are only allowed to park there from 8pm to 8am.

Great spot in a small quiet & dark carpark, I got there a little after 8pm and there was one spot left. Good little toilet cubicle with clean toilets and bins, and it is right next to a 24/7 laundromat, that has 2 powerpoint outlets! I popped on my laundry & charged up my devices while waiting. Spot is a 5 minute walk from everything! Loved it here! One of the better camp sites i’ve stayed in, despite it being away from nature.

NON SELF CONTAINED - u kunt verblijven bij Hanmer DOC Base & Car Park incl Overnachting verblijf. Ik sprak met een man van DOC en hij stuurde me net naar die plaats.

Het lukte me om de tweede plaats te krijgen, maar ik denk dat deze vaak onmiddellijk vullen.We hadden geluk op een rustige weekdag na de schoolvakantie.Het is in de parkeerplaats voor een mooi klein park met toiletten.Een gemakkelijke wandeling naar restaurants etc. in Hanmer Springs.

Beperkte draairuimte en niet eens in de buurt van het niveau, de raad waarschuwde ook voor mogelijke boetes als u hier voor 8 uur parkeren.

De raad controleert de naleving, als je parkeren op een niet aangewezen plaats u waarschijnlijk zal worden gevraagd om verder te gaan.

Aankomst op 7 en de 2 plaatsen werden al genomen door self-contained... dit is echt vervelend omdat dit de enige gratis kamp beschikbaar is voor niet-self-contained in de stad.. PLS SELF CONTAINED PARK HIER heb je veel opties in en rond de stad !
