Ga uit de weg om deze plek te bezoeken. Het is niet alleen een camping – het is een wonderland. Een portaal naar een andere wereld vol nostalgie en hekserij. Het terrein is prachtig, de keuken is charmant, en Fritz en Debbie zijn ongelooflijk gezelschap over een kopje.

Debbie & Frits were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts and have a beautiful place. Great yarns, warm vibes and the coolest little music room. Cannot recommend enough. Will be back to visit :)

Terako Downs is amazing! The hosts are by far the best part. They are holding all sorts of events and festivals and have such a beautiful peaceful property, best campsite in the south island by far! Their Little dog Django is a cutiepie too 🥰

One of the best campsites I have found in the South Island. My wife and I love it and return as often as possible, usually with a group of like minded friends. Always lots of fun, the music evenings are amazing Debbie & Fritz are fantastic hosts who always seem to be going the extra mile to ensure guests are well looked after.

Prachtige rustgevende plek om te verblijven, geweldige gastvrijheid, rustige landelijke ligging, uitzicht op Mt Lyford, deze camping aanraden.

Dit was echt iets speciaals. Alles was in feite een beetje retro en dus de hele sfeer was uniek. ik kan vooral de plaats aanbevelen voor fietsers b. g. het doen van de Hurunui trail.

Zeer rustige en gastvrije site in een prachtige setting. drop toiletten en een kleine keuken zijn op de site, maar het hoogtepunt van de site is de iconische lounge gevuld met 60s en 70s meubels en souvenirs.

Mooie plek en welkom door de eigenaar Fritz! Serene, rustige en mooie uitzichten. Alleen droge toiletten, een kleine keuken, een kleine speeltuin, koel retro museum, en zoete co-campers rond. Breng geld (ze doen ook een bankoverschrijving).

Truely a camper's dream come true! You'll feel like you're entered a parallel universe;) So amazed of this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere in beautiful nature. Highly recommend detour, come here when on the South Island! 20$ night/van.LOVE the quirky common area with kitchen, fireplace, Hifi with great CDs, vintage museum/collection. Can park your campervan on the grass in the garden & there are outside toilettes. Debby& Fritz are such lovely hosts, made us feel so welcome. Place to be:)
