Had a lot of fun on this hike. It’s an off a little trail on the left side of the road driving north, right before the buildings and across from the railway station. Follow the grass to posted signs. It crosses private land but great infrastructure to pass over the fences and yellow signs telling you you’re on the right trail, it’s also pretty visible in the grass. There are cows and sheep in some of the fields but didn’t have any issues. The drawings were incredible. It was pretty steep

This would have been a great place to see but no signage on main road and drove straight past the road it on.

De wandeling duurde ongeveer 1,5 uur terug. Begin vanuit Waikato (tegenover het einde van de Weka Railway) en ga naar beneden op een grasbaan, dan draai je links en omhoog over een privéboerderij. Laat de poorten achter als je ze vindt. Geen honden. Interessant om wat oude grotkunst te zien, zoals ik er nog nooit in NZ heb gezien.
