Evening 12 o'clock there are still seats, morning can watch sunrise, but must have own car toilet and water source

There are NO Toilets And two owerflowing trashbins Do NOT try to climb up with your car to be colser to the sea the sand won't holt anything short of a 4x4. Quiet place with a few flat potholes. We were very happy here. Would recommand♡

Right next to the beach, decent cell phone reception. The two rubbish bins were very full while we were there. Flat spots, enough for maybe 12-15 vans if people park well. Great fishing. Pretty good for one night but not a destination where you’d want to stay for too long, but hey- it’s free!

Very good place to stay. There were only 2 vans and you are next to the sea and 10 minutes from Timaru!

Great place to pull up after a big day driving. It’s an open gravel parking lot about 1km off the road right by the beach. No rubbish in site and 2 big bins to get rid of your own waste. The beach is rocky but a gorgeous sunrise to wake up to. Plenty of space for multiple vehicles.

We were expecting the worst after reading some reviews but all was OK. Good to park up for the night which was all we needed. The stoney beach which reminded us of Napier.

Geweldige plek aan het strand - rustig en respectvol andere campers hier - geen faciliteiten maar geen klachten - als je zelfstandig bent het is perfect voor een nacht
