What a fanstastic holiday park! Jane (one of the owners) gave such a warm & informative welcome. Gorgeous location right next to the river, with quintessential rustic camp setting. Reminded us of camp when we were kids! It was shoulder season so not packed but seemed like there'd be plenty of space for everyone. Bonfire at night, weather permitting. Insane view of the stars. Just note there is no cell signal :) Only stayed a couple of nights but plan to return to stay for longer!

Our stay at Danseys Pass Holiday Park was simply fantastic. We received an exceptionally warm welcome from the owner. In the evening, she even lit a campfire for us – a wonderful gesture. The site is very quiet and idyllic, with a great private swimming lake. There are also fishing opportunities nearby, and the internet connection was very stable. We originally only planned to stay one night, but we enjoyed it so much that we stayed for two days. Absolutely top-notch!

We waren er slechts voor een nacht, maar het was absoluut de moeite waard; het was een echte oase van welzijn in het midden van de natuur.

Kan deze plek niet meer aanbevelen. De gastheer was absoluut leuk en super behulpzaam. Camp direct naast een prachtig zwembad, geweldige faciliteiten - geweldige een nacht verblijf!

Great find. Caters for all, laid back camp ground, all you need, kitchen, usual amenities, large games room and laundry. Right beside the river, too cold for swimming this time of the year but in the summer would be delightful. Lovely drive through the pass, we have a 8m Trailite Truck, need to be a confident driver and take it slowly, a few narrow squeezes. Well worth stopping at Danseys pass Alpine Lavender, lovely cottage craft business, Pete and Wendy

Fantastic place! Stopped while cycling the pass over to Naseby. Great hosts, fantastic and charming facilities. Well equipped kitchen and chill out lounge. A bit of a school-camp vibe, which was nice and nostalgic. We camped but there were cool looking cabins and also powered sites. We arrived in less than ideal weather for the swimming holes in the river but they looked great!

What a find. We had this site just about to ourselves. Great host and great location. Stunning scenery and the chance to pan for gold. Facilities were a little tired but great value for money. Great site for kids of all ages. I’m telling you but keep it quiet- let’s keep this beautiful spot to ourselves.

What a beautiful and peaceful campground! The forest and the river are so pretty. Perfect place to relax.
