The area itself is really nice and when we came it was quite empty. The negative points : The gravel road to come here, a bit rough. The toilets are quite disgusting I don't know for how long they haven't been clean and of course no toilet paper. Also no phone connection at all.

I’d suggest not following Google Maps. It took me down a dangerous gravel road, and after about 10 kilometres I ended up at someone’s farm entrance with signs saying “No entry without appointment.” The worst part was turning back the road was steep with tiny loose stones, my wheels kept spinning, and it was honestly pretty scary.

The site is closed, a danger sign indicates that the access ramp is not usable. Otherwise, Gravel road for 20 minutes and no telephone network

De grind weg uit is een beetje lelijk en golvend in delen. Niet goed voor grotere voertuigen. Zodra ik aankwam - ik stapte in blijdschap. Het was zo rustig en serene. De trek naar het strand was goed en de sterren schitterden helder 's nachts. Ik verbleef twee rustige nachten. had slechts een andere van mij beide nachten. Het is een site groot genoeg voor overvloedige privacy.

Absoluut verbazingwekkende plek! Zo rustig en naast de rivier, de wandeling naar het strand is heerlijk en net als 2 km en het uitzicht is geweldig. Wees gewoon bewust dat er geen celdienst en geen drinkwater en om er te komen ga je door grindweg voor ongeveer 15 km.

Mooie kleine plek, mooie landelijke weg om er te komen. Ruimte voor ongeveer 10 camper plots, werd gezegd dat de helft van de ruimte was privé land (onzeker als het waar is). Prachtig beschermd gebied, prachtig uitzicht op het water en de heuvel. Toilettenfaciliteiten zeer basic, geen toiletpapier dus blij dat we kwamen voorbereid. Geen stroomwater ook, maar kon tijdelijk zijn geweest. Zien wat ezels worden gevangen, vermoeden dat het een goede plek is voor vissen wanneer de vloed in is.

Loved our night here, tranquil spot by the river at the end of the road. Quiet and dark with stary skies. Walked out to the coast with nice views back over the river and surrounding country side. Road in was no problem and had just been graded.

Very nice place quite. Next to the river . Walk to the beach . 20mins . Or boat . Can get full on the weekend . Not suitable for large vehicles . Your choice. Road is gravel . Good for a few days or longer stop over . Water is drinkable. Toilet . Good . Clean and tidy . Grounds . ?

What a beatific spot. We arrived late afternoon in our camper van and already there were 2 Motorhomes and 2 smaller vehicles. With plenty of room to spare. Swimming in the river is amazing and kayaking just a few minutes to the beach is the best. If you love to fish this is the place to go. Clean toilets and don’t forget to pop a few dollars into the Iron maiden. No rubbish in site ... Lovely clean spot
