We stayed there twice — once during the week and once on the weekend. The toilets were clean, and it was generally quiet. There’s also space for non-self contained vehicles. However, the night on the weekend was horrible. There were many youngsters hanging out in the car park, being very loud — shouting, playing music, and causing disturbances until late at night. The police came twice. Of course, this might not be typical for every weekend, but it’s something to be aware

Difficult night, very noisy. I don't think it's a good idea to come and sleep here on Friday and Saturday nights.

Het was ok voor de nacht. Een toilet werd open gelaten (de belangrijkste stallen waren gesloten) die schoon was. Het was erg helder met het in het gebied van het business park dus de lichten waren de hele nacht aan. CBD drankverbod in plaats.

Goede plek om de nacht door te brengen, maar let op parkeerzones afhankelijk van of je zelfstandig bent of niet.

nice place to stay for a night or two toilets clean, but all closed at night but one Saturday evening a bit loud, because of a pub nearby BUT! take care there is a weird guy in a all purple suit walking round. He seems nice, but dont tell him anything. A woman told us he's a Stalker and he's banned from many stores there

Located in a parking lot but in the center of the charming city of Nelson. Stayed two nights, including New Year's Eve. There was some noise until 2 or 3 a.m., but it was very quiet afterward. The second night was also very quiet. Plenty of space, relatively clean restrooms, and a $2 shower open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The car park and toilets seem to be the meeting point of the drunken youth of Nelson during weekends. Their shouting kept us awake a good part of the night. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this free camp.

The location is in the middle of the town on a parking lot. It’s fine with a clean toilet en a lot of camper spaces. Unfortunately there was a lot of noice and someone pushed a couple of times against our van in the night. If you can sleep with noice and like the city then this is a good spot, but we are not staying here again.

I recommend hot showers from 8am, taps for filling water bottles, and clean public toilets.
