Slightly sloping but adorable club members next door. The view of the peak right next door is not bad.

Got there about 5.30 pm, 3 campers already there. You have to park between the signs, spaces for 4. We had to wait till the walkers moved their car to park in the last spot. Not flat. Very calm and no noise at night. Clean toilets and sink.

Wow! Great free campground! Just under the Mt. Manaia where the hike begins. Very quiet, you can hear kiwi there (I had no luck to see them). Felt safe as female solo traveler 😊

Loved This place! Basic with one loo but comfortable enough. Quiet and peaceful at the base of the hike. The club next door is so friendly and welcoming to visitors, we went in for drink and game of pool. Fish and chip shop 10 min walk away was decent too. Overall great free camp for one night

Parking in front of the Mount. Approx. 4 véhicules. Quiet and nice view. Toilets 24h/24h. Clean but no lights. Max 1 night stay. Nice pub near by.

Zeer coole plek!! We waren alleen voor de nacht, we hebben niet geprobeerd de bar naast de deur maar het leek erg vriendelijk. Toiletten zijn schoon en open de hele nacht, geen vuilnis kan op de site. De volgende dag we de berg Manaia wandelen en het was ongelooflijk! Kortom: geweldige site om uw wandeling te beginnen ahaha en een prachtig uitzicht

Zeer rustig, niets aan de pub naast ons. Perfecte locatie als je de top wandelen in de ochtend. geen aangewezen baaien hoeft alleen maar om de voertuigen te passen tussen twee tekens. Gemakkelijk 3 auto's. Toiletten ter plaatse, zeer schoon en open 24/7

We enjoyed this spot. It is closed to the road, cars passing by through the night didn't bother us at all. We were spoiled with euphonious sounds coming from the nearby club. Two picnic benches and clean toilets. Our stay here was concluded with a very scenic morning walk up Mt. Manaia.
