Absolutely lovely couple running a beautiful campsite with an amazing garden and wildlife. We went down the wrong road (don't go left just after the entrance!) and got stuck and the owners were very kind about giving us a tow back up the hill. Would recommend to anyone.

What a dreamy place these two have created! Everything is lovingly and beautifully furnished. There's an outdoor shower, an outhouse, and plenty of nature. We spent a cozy evening there with red wine.

I was able to stay there for two weeks. Simon and Nadège are two wonderful people, and I had a great time with them and with other travellers passing through. It's one of the cheapest places in the area, and it also has a hot shower. I highly recommend it!

We stopten slechts voor een nacht, maar dit zou een bestemming kunnen zijn. Mooie gastheren en verbazingwekkende eigenschappen, zeker down-to-earth en de meest schattige honden.

Zeer mooie plek, zeer vriendelijke gastheren open voor discussie en geven goed advies over de regio. Zeer aangename en ontspannen plek, een echte terugkeer naar de natuur, extra koeien en labradors. Zeer mooie gedeelde keuken en douches, elektriciteit en wifi toegankelijk.

I spent few days at Down to Earth and it's been just one of the highlight of my travel in New Zealand. Simon, Nadège, Mitch, Molly & Milo offered me way more than a place to pinch my tent, but a delightful environnement full of plants, flowers, trees, all perfectly designed by Simon (an amazing landscape designer). We shared quality moments together, playing volleyball, hiking cape brett, campfire, and so on. They have also caravans and places for campervans on their land. Just go !

Geweldige plek om te verblijven, Wifi, warme douche, veel plaatsen om een kamer te parkeren / huren.

Fantastische camping, dus het is de moeite waard om te verblijven. Goed gezelschap, mooi landschap en geweldige faciliteiten (keuken, douche, toiletten...)

Zeker hier blijven!!! Super vriendelijke en gastvrije gastheren met goede chat en banter. Had de meest ontspannende 2 nachten hier met mijn moeder en mijn kat, ja een kat vriendelijke plek ook!! De honden Milo en Molly zijn echt zoet en cuddly. Massief plus: je kunt ook een massage boeken, absoluut aanbevelen om dat te doen. Grote ervaring, zoals de naam het is naar de grond. Basic set-up, maar het geeft u alles wat u nodig hebt. Bedankt voor het hebben van ons, ik zal zeker terugkomen op mijn volgende roadtrip!!!

Amazing spot, super friendly people, free hot shower and little kitchen area. Owner gave us some awesome tips for visiting the area and was a cool guy to talk to. If you're in the area this is a much better alternative to the holiday parks close by if you like nature, peace, and chill vibes <3
