Great camping. Very busy because of the Easter weekend and the places are fairly close to each other. In the morning many campers leave early with a trailer to go fishing, this makes you wake up. Facilities are okay, fairly clean but don't look up because there is full of spider networks. Nice environment so on the beach.

We stayed in campervan on powered site Nicely spread out (as some we stayed at in NZ were tightly packed). Facilities reasonable, clean and and kitchen compact and clean. Staff informative of surrounding area.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel en goed ingestelde camping. We verbleven een nacht op een aangedreven site na een bezoek aan Cape Reinga via het online boekingssysteem. Het dichtstbijzijnde door winkel, ten noorden van Campground langs de nationale snelweg 1 (Houhora Honey Bees) zelfgemaakte Pies zijn zo... smakelijk. Na het uitchecken van de camping gaan we weer naar het noorden om meer pizzas te kopen voor onze lunch en diner. Die pizzas zijn de beste pizzas die ik in NZ heb gegeten.

Really nice holiday park, bathroom and toilets are clean, functional kitchen, $1 coin for a hot shower already included in the booking fee. We booked online and arrived late after the office hour, and the staff left us an envelope with welcome letter, instruction to enter the site, a map, and $1 coins for the hot shower. Super thoughtful! We went and spoke with the staff in the morning and she gave us a lot of recommendations on things to do around. Overall really great experience!

Kies deze site als een van de weinige boekbare op weg naar Cape Reinga. Site was druk en pitches klein en dicht bij elkaar, helaas we werden geplaatst tegenover de keuken waar sommige grote groepen waren behoorlijk luidruchtig. Ondanks de situatie goed kijken we moeite om een leuke wandeling te vinden als het is meestal muddy estuary. Faciliteiten schoon moeten betalen voor douches. Waarschuwing als je reist naar het noorden is er een 85 mijl kloof tussen tankstations hoewel er een een paar mijl voor Cape Reinga.

Mooie camping - schone douches met goede waterdruk! $ 1 dollar voor 5 minuten.

En heeft het hier heel goed gefallen, bleven zwei Nächte sehr ruhig in der Nebensaison.Nette deutschsprachige Frau bei der Anmeldung

Beautiful place !! Great hot showers $1 for 6mins - fantastic pressure. Awesome kitchen and bbq area. Quite a busy place with what seems many long term guests however they are absolutely welcoming and friendly. Great office lady - all facilities were awesome. You don't actually get a water view as such as there are humps of hills around as wind breakers which you absolutely want as can be sure windy ! very cool place to explore, lovely and clean

Place was clean but couldn’t get to sleep due to the party in the community kitchen area.

Nice campsite for families, we stopped one night and we enjoyed it. We stayed on the left side of the campsite , very busy but spacious. The only problem we faced was the poor pressure on the showers.
