LE cap Nord, à ne pas louper dans un roadtrip de Nouvelle-Zélande. Een plek ongelooflijk, prachtig. zeer spiritueel, vol geschiedenis en belangrijk voor de Maori's. LE lieux où se rencontrent la mer Tasman et l'océan Pacifique. Une vue à couper le souffle. Quelques travaux en ce moment pour améliorer le phare et les chemins. Incontournable cap Reinga.

Worth the trip! Even did the 40 min walk along the cliffs edge. Definitely would recommend doing the hike!!!

Beautiful in winter with only 1 or 2 other tourists. Heavy overcast on day 1. Stayed overnight in carpark 2. Beautiful sunny on day 2. Different each day but still a very spiritual peaceful place. Walking tracks are well maintained and accurate time estimates given for this average fitness 60 year old.

Sacred Maori place, Oceans meeting, a terminus for NZ's Te Araroa Trail, views, nature, endless oceans, walking tracks... What else can I say... ?

It beat my expectations... Oh wow is all I can say. It’s made my soul forever happy knowing I’ve been to the top of the north island and I got to appreciate it in the most wonderful place. We stayed for sunrise, it’s very quiet up there at the moment. It’s the best year to visit because we are the only tourists allowed in the country. Get out and explore! Incredible place. Thank you Nz.

Busy as but worth it! Just be prepared to struggle to find parking and see a lot of people.
