So touristy as you’d imagine. Nice little streets to stroll through but too many people trying to get their IG shot ! Quaint but probably not worth the detour for us

I did not find the Chinese settlement very interesting. Arrowtown itself is very cute and perfect for a relaxed stroll.

Arrowtown is a beautiful little town! Soo great houses! It is worthwhile to drive through it once alone. The chinese village is nice too
