This place is an absolute gem, a hidden beauty. The park is so well maintained, facilities simple but immaculately clean, hot showers and the bonus of being able to have a camp fire was amazing. Mark the park manager was fantastic, we told him we were on our honeymoon he really looked after us and even dropped off a lovely bottle of Pinot. Highly recommended, I’m absolutely baffled by any negative reviews.

Een beetje een vreemde plek. Aangedreven sites zijn overvol dus als je kunt, krijg een niet-aangedreven site voor meer privacy. Grote eigenschap met een leuke wandeling naar de rivier en het zwembad gat. Rustige plek. Faciliteiten zijn oud maar schoon

Absoluut prachtige rustieke plek goede oude kiwi camping bij zijn beste niet-commerciële, fantastische eigenaren, zeer schone faciliteit, mooie warme douches inbegrepen in uw verblijf, wasmachine beschikbaar, het geluid van vogelleven is verbazingwekkend en mooie wandelingen naar de rivier met zwemholten. En ze laten branden in aangewezen brandkisten. familie vriendelijke en respectvolle omgeving. zeker de moeite waard om te verblijven.

Mooie camping, maar alle lege permanente caravanen zijn niet uitnodigend. Aangedreven locaties zijn beperkt en zijn open. tenten locaties in de bomen zijn prachtig. Bonus van brand. Toiletten en douches ok.

We stayed a night in february : very nice hosts, super calm surroundings and not at all crowded contrary to what i read in a previous comment. The hot shower (included in the night fee) was such a relief after a long day...

By far the nicest campsite we’ve been to! Not only was the host friendly and welcoming but the facilities were so clean. Someone mentioned space being an issue, maybe we just got lucky but this campground is massive and plenty of options to be away from others. There is a lot of camper vans around but the host explained they’re being stored here which wasn’t a problem for us. Fantastic hot showers included in camp fees - best pressure we’ve had this trip so far and a washing machine for $2 (honesty box system for this, note there is no dryer!) Lovely stream at the bottom of the campgrounds that would be great for a summer evening swim. We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up doing another night, highly recommended for the cost!!
