Mooi landschap en sfeer op de camping. Geweldige warme douche en toiletfaciliteiten, waaronder een douche om je gerechten te wassen. Echter, een paar campers speelden luide muziek tot 1-2am, waardoor het een beetje moeilijker om te slapen. Als je rust nodig hebt om te slapen, probeer te voorkomen dat het parkeren naar beneden van de toiletten door de boot ramp. Het laatste gedeelte van de weg naar de camping is ook erg zwaar met schapen en kleine dieren (haaien) dus wees voorzichtig bij het rijden door, vooral 's nachts

Geweldige plek, met een warme douche gratis. Kamperen 12$/nacht. Geen telefoonreceptie. De laatste ~15/20km zijn door een grindweg in een privéboerderij met voorraad wandelen

Amazing remote and serene lake to camp at with hot showers! Road to travel there is a bit scary with sheer cliffs so take your time. We saw atleast 8 animal species on the way in at dark just free range all over the place. Phone reception with skinny but not 2 degrees. Loved kayaking in the lake under native trees and we cooked eel on the fires that were already there. We walked to the dam and the kids loved the huge dead eel floating around. Lots of space for our badminton set, hammock and swings available. Gorgeous waterfall. Lots of fish in the lake great for kids to be kids.

Awesome spot only able to stay one night but would stay longer next time. Flush toilet and hot shower. A bit of a drive to get there but well worth the effort. Top marks taranaki.

Wow! Great value for money! Flush toilets, hot shower, rubbish bins. Beautiful lake. Great water skiing. Totally worth the drive. What a gem of a place.

Magical. Alone. Remote. Beautiful. Straightforward but exceptionally well maintained amenities. If you don’t do isolation or austerity, this is not for you. You’ll wake up to cows, walk across the site amidst sheep dung. As I said, beautiful.

Fantastic campsite. Lots of space and hot showers. The toilets are also very clean. It was just not clear who you had to pay. And the way there is a gravel road.

Fantastic! Best Campground I've ever seen. 10$ is absolutely fine. There's no phone reception but you definitely don't need it. There are plenty fire pits. Theres also the lake where you can swim and fish eel or just bring your own boat. The facilities are very clean and there are free unlimited hot showers. Plus the water is potable without boiling before.

Wow magical. Very friendly custodian. Very clean facilities. Great bush walk across the Dam. Price has gone up to $10 per night and worth every cent
