Nice location next to the beach. Facilities ok. Many long term campers.

In mid-November, there was hardly anything going on. The sanitary facilities were extremely outdated but relatively clean. The Wi-Fi reaches the campsite but is limited to 500MB/24h.

Located right at a river mouth with a beautiful beach. The place was almost empty in mid-November. Very clean. With a bit of luck, you can see or at least hear penguins.

Nice camp site, off season was very quiet! Spacious and clean toilets and showers! The kitchen we used, there was 2, smelts quite fusty, but that was probably down to lack of use! Chance to see little penguins but we didn’t unfortunately.

Zeer goed, buiten het seizoen zo super rustig, het lijkt alsof er alleen inwoners zijn. De pinguïns kwamen niet naar buiten, wat een schande is, maar het is niet de schuld van de camping, omdat ze deze activiteit niet garanderen. Goed gelegen. De dame die me verwelkomde was meer dan vriendelijk, belde NZ-een voor mij met betrekking tot een mobiel plan probleem. Goede ervaring voor mij. Schoon, douches, toiletten, keuken, waskamer, tv-lounge. Ik kom terug als ik ooit...

This place was awesome! $56 for an unpowered site was worth it as we were right by the water, there were plenty of toilets/showers/sinks and stovetops at no extra cost. So worth it! Clean and easy to use! My only negative is that the website wasn’t working properly and said fully booked but they had space. Otherwise, worth it 100%!

Het leegmaken van grijs water en het opvullen van vers water is niet mogelijk zonder een overnachting!

Een beetje teleurstellend. We ontdekten pas de volgende dag dat er mooie pitches waren in een geweldige locatie waar je ook de pinguïns 's nachts kon zien. We vonden onze plek helemaal niet leuk. Toen we vroegen, vooral omdat alles gratis was, kregen we te horen dat andere gasten hadden geklaagd omdat de pinguïns 's nachts te luidruchtig waren. Maar ik zou graag dat zelf hebben besloten, vooral omdat we machteloos wilden en nu weten we niet of we betaalden voor aangedreven.
