Een echt leuke plek om te verblijven!! We parkeerden 2 nachten recht op de klif en had het allemaal voor onszelf. U kunt naar het strand lopen en bekijk de grotten die het volgende niveau zijn! Zeer vriendelijke locals en heel de vissersgemeenschap, rijden rond op hun quad fietsen en trekken in hun netten. Het is windig maar het maakt niet uit als de locatie de wind vervangt. U kunt hier ook honden hebben. We hebben ons verblijf volledig genoten en zouden zeker terugkeren 😊

Cave beach is destroyed by cyclone gabrielle. But beautiful little caves are accessable via long beach during low tide.

Cave Beach was absolutely unreal. Have lived in NZ 28 years and this is up there with a favorite for me, especially at sunset.

Wonderful place ! Surely one of our favorites on the North Island. Black sand beach with lots of cellars in the cliffs. Do not hesitate to walk along the beach to the east, it's the most beautiful! As a previous comment, another version of Cathedral Cove in much wilder and much less tourists. It's definitely worth it!

Very nice place to go for a walk on the beach. Black sand and cave dug by the sea !! nice and very few people. Possibility to sleep on the spot!
