Access is from Dawson Waterfalls visitor centre. Do not follow the directions on this site. Wonderful place to visit.

Beautiful walk, easy to moderate, need good footwear and moderate fitness

Super easy walk on planks the entire way. Do the water slide on your feet, quick fun and freezing!

Easy hike to the pools. Definitely do the slide, the water is cold but it’s super fun!

We walked from Dawson’s Falls Visitor Centre to the Platau via Wilkies Pools. An awesome walk with great views, particularly at the platau, AMAZING and you can walk some of the mountain from here. We walked back via the enchanted walk which I wouldn’t recommend... Except the swing bridge it’s just a long, tricky forest walk which was very overgrown and muddy in May! Loads of steps and no views at all.

Short, easy walk to the pools and from there you can climb a little further. Rather too small and very cold to take a dip in them.

Worth the visit! Easy walk down to the pools and an easy enough Walk/climb up most of the pools. Water absolutely freezing! But a very refreshing dip for those brave enough!

Seems like the best way to enjoy is to clamber the pools. I didn’t but it was still a nice spot. Carry on to the plateau to make the most of it.
