Just walk up that hill haha, really not worth the money if you're not disabled / have leg or walking problems / sit in a wheelchair / have a baby or are simply too rich ;)

I thought this was a nice thing to do in Wellington. It only costs 4 dollars, great view of the city from the top and then you can walk back down through the botanical gardens. Plenty to see and a nice way to spend a few hours if you have some spare time in Wellington.

You can walk up the hill in 20 minutes

You can spend the $ 4 on something more interesting.

Prices have gone up: $4 one way, 7.5 return this comes in handy if you want to go to the botanic gardens: take the cable car up and walk your way through the Botanic gardens down!

Only a really short drive up the hill but you can take the typical cable car picture at the top which you find in every tour guide! Nice view of Wellington and nice walk trough the botanic gardens afterwards. Worth a visit!
