We had a fantastic stay at Anglers Lodge. The owners are lovely people who share plenty of information upon check in, along with good fishing spots! They make a great coffee and have a small shop for snacks or forgotten essentials. The facilities are fantastic and well maintained. During our stay there was a pretty bad weather event with heaps of rain for over 30 hours straight, they kindly offered us an upgrade to a lodge so we could escape our small van for the night! 10/10 Best camp in NZ!!

Super vriendelijk personeel, ze zorgden ervoor dat we alles wat we nodig hadden om een geweldig verblijf te hebben en gaf ons een aantal geweldige lokale aanbevelingen. Geweldige prijs, 20pp voor een niet-powered site en had alles wat je nodig had. warme douches, zwembad, bbq en keuken, wasgoed tegen een extra kosten, een zwembad tafel en darts! Wat meer zou je echt willen. 10/10, zou weer blijven :)

Ik beveel deze camping aan! Het is een rustige plek waar je alles wat je nodig hebt. Warm welkom. uitzicht op zee.

3 maanden reizen over het hele Noord-eiland en Anglers Lodge is een van onze meest favoriete tot nu toe. Schone & moderne badkamers, nieuwe & vlekkeloze wasmachine & droger, vriendelijk personeel, een prachtige locatie met de meest verbazingwekkende zonsondergangen. Ik denk dat we een van de beste plekken op de grond hadden (naast de extra toilet en bootwasser). Als iets, het zwembad was een beetje te koel voor ons, dus we hebben het niet gebruikt, maar er is de spa! De keuken is vrij klein, maar we hebben het nooit nodig.

Anglers Lodge in Coromandel is an amazing place to stay! The campgrounds are lovely, with clean bathrooms and free showers. The kitchen is spotless and well-equipped with all necessities. We loved the big pool area and the spa jacuzzi (available for a cost). The views of the ocean are absolutely stunning! Jason and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The common room is great, with charging ports and a TV, and the Wi-Fi is strong but phone signal isn't great. Highly recommend!

Hot water shower, clean toilets. Kitchen poorly equipped and very small for everyone in the campsite. Common area with TV. Paid WiFi. The owners are very nice. But $25 per person for a van space is too expensive.

My corner of paradise in New Zealand, the best campsite of our 3 weeks, the setting is idyllic between river meadows and ocean views. The owners are absolutely lovely. The toilets couldn't be cleaner and well maintained, the kitchen is a gem, everything is available, even the ovens, it's bright and you also have a view of the sea from here. Very pleasant swimming pool. Swimming in the sea as well. Finally, a cozy sofa corner from which you can spend wonderful evenings listening to the sound of the sea, grocery store and café on site. I would have liked to stay there longer! don't hesitate, paradise is here!!
