We moesten slechts één nacht verblijven, maar we bleven er drie! De camping is erg rustig, perfect om te ontspannen met het geluid van een kleine rivier. De eigenaar is mooi en zeer behulpzaam. De keuken en douches zijn schoon en zeer goed uitgerust. Er zijn andere mensen die op de camping wonen, maar ze zijn helemaal niet lastig (het tegenovergestelde, ze gaven geweldig advies). De Wi-Fi is uitstekend en de douches kosten $ 1 voor 5 minuten (maar ze zijn enkele van de beste douches rond). Kortom: ga voor het! :)

Easy to find site, welcoming staff. 7m Campervan was just about small enough to fit on the gravel area still available to book. Lots of live in residents on the site.

Staff is very friendly and camp site overall has good facilities. We had good WiFi connection (free & unlimited) and used the kitchen. Camp site is a little bit aged but the price is def fair. We paid 40$ for 2p plus van. There is also a free mini golf course available and you can swim in the river.

Onze camping was direct aan de rivier. Dat was echt leuk, omdat we het ook konden gebruiken om te zwemmen. Helaas hadden we permanente campers aan beide zijden van ons, waarvan er een rookte een joint na de andere in de middag, en de andere die de hele dag luid tv keek. Dat verzwakt onze algehele indruk. Anders is het een leuke camping. douches kosten $ 1 voor 5 minuten, en Wi-Fi is beschikbaar.

Mooie site, we hadden hier twee nachten. Er is een mix hier; slaapzalen, hutten zijn beschikbaar om te huren, er zijn een aantal langdurige gasten plus, campers en caravans. Badkamers zijn oud maar zeer schoon. Wasruimtes, geweldige keuken, BBQ's en gedeelde spelletjes / TV-lounge. We hadden een duik in het zwembad, geweldig voor een fatsoenlijk zwemmen. We gingen terug in een stroom die heel prettig was als de eenden ons een bezoek zouden betalen. Geweldige plek voor vogelspotting ook! We deden de wandeling signaalposted off site, geweldig maar wees voorbereid op een v steile

So glad you found all the facilities to your liking. Absolutely great spot for bird watching with all our trees and bush on our doorstep. Yes that track is a challenge, very impressed you gave it a shot.”

The campsite was pleasant. The kitchen was good. The toilets and showers were clean. The Wi-Fi was also fine. It would be nice if the paths were a little better lit at night. Hot showers cost an extra 1 NZD despite paying 30 NZD per person. The lady at reception was very courteous and friendly.

Friendly staff. Old facilities but ok. Lot of long term campers. Quite small sites.

Definitely recommend. The new owners are really nice and taking care about the place, investing quite a bit like a nice new shelter at the kitchen. Also gave a lot of tips around Coromandel. Everything clean and nice. Would come back. Free WiFi.

Warm welcome by the owner who gave us helpful tips for hiking in and around Rotorua. We had a perfectly fine stay: clean facilities and warm shower ($1 dollar per 5 min).
