We booked for two nights, and due to Cyclone Vaianu, we parked at the foot of the house rather than on the lawn, but it didn't bother us at all. The hosts were incredibly welcoming; they let us charge our phones and portable power bank in their garage, and they even offered us a shower and Wi-Fi. We didn't dare ask for Wi-Fi after such kindness! 😅 The surrounding area is beautiful and lush; we loved it and highly recommend the location.

Don't drive up the drive! The camping garden (it's too nice to say field) is the next gate at the very end of the road. It's a lovely spot, quiet and peaceful and reasonably flat. There aren't pitches as such, just start where you want. It is what it says it is, a haven just outside the city with no facilities whatsoever but so much nicer than an urban carpark. Thanks for making this available!

Hello À vert bas experience Nobody for reception ! Field unsuitable for Motorhomes Not recommended

I stayed here last night, and I couldn't wait to write about it. So, I'm writing this before I leave. A sanctuary it certainly is! The wonderful couple and their little one were so friendly and welcoming. I'm so grateful to find such a peaceful spot so close to the city. Parked up near the stream, I fell asleep to the beautiful surrounding sounds of nature, and slept so well! Thank you so much for sharing such an idealic space!

I pulled up to the driveway in my 6m van. 3m tall. Was not going to attempt it. Decided to let booking go. Photo looks way better.

Zeer mooie plek. Dicht bij Hamilton centraal maar midden in de natuur.

Om te zeggen hoeveel we hebben genoten van het ontmoeten van Simone en het verblijf in het prachtige stedelijke heiligdom van haar familie. Met alle wilde dieren om ons heen - fantails, silvereyes op de vijgenboom, tonijn in de stroom, en morepork hooting & schreeuwen bij zonsondergang - en de rustige tuin setting, was het moeilijk om te geloven dat we in het midden van een drukke stad waren.

Dankzij Tuckie en de warme welkom in de tuin. We kregen geserveerd vers geoogst fruit en deelgenomen aan het voeden van de dikke eiken in de stroom. Gezellig, rustig en mooie plek. Zeer aanbevolen! Groeten van Ava, Vår, Marie en Julius uit Noorwegen.

Een enorme dank aan Tuk die super mooi en genereus was! Dit gebied is SUPERB en is zo'n leuke plek om in te trekken voor een nacht of 2! Het zou mijn favoriete plek voor onze hele reis kunnen zijn! Helaas was de grond nog steeds een beetje nat dus we instellen in de rijbaan maar lopen naar de vijver op zonsondergang is zo'n prachtige ervaring! 10/10 plaats! 110/10 gastheren! Geweldige plek om te verblijven. Zo vriendelijke gastheer. Laten we zijn fietsen gebruiken in de namiddag om de stad te zien. Heeft een aantal coole huisdieren eiken die hij zorgt voor en het is een zeer rustige plek.
