Absoluut leuk wandelen om 's nachts te doen en de beroemde blauwe glowworms van Waitomo gratis te bekijken! Het teken zegt ofwel de vochtige rotswanden te bekijken of naar de swingbrug te lopen om meer van hen te zien. Er waren niet zo veel tijdens ons bezoek, maar we moesten dichterbij komen en ze observeren.

Awesome walk! So underrated! I will be recommending this highly to anyone! Definitely worth doing, great views in the caves. We’re heading back to go when it’s dark to hopefully see the glow worms and bats :)

The bushwalk starts at the scenuc reserve. Lots of fireflies after dusk!

Nice bushwalk with tunnels, couple viewpoints are washed out/closed off. Bathrooms closed.

This place should be a must do of the NZ, the cave is amazing

We took this walk at 630pm and saw many blue glowworms. Walk in about 3mins and look on the tree and is branches for them! A few bridges and steps across a rapid stream but it’s very safe, well managed trail by DOC. May not need the torchlight, headlights at all, we have got good moonlight through the forest trees. Highly recommended!
