We stayed here in Feb 2025 and had a wonderful time. Jane was friendly and welcoming along with the locals in the pub ☺️ the beach is a short wee walk to the campsite ☺️ beautiful scenery and I would highly recommend to any tourist to stop here ☺️

beautiful spot! camp has bathrooms, recycling and a place for your rubbish! aswell as a kitchen and a nice seating area aswell. didn’t use any other amenities so not sure about the rest! showers are $2 for 5 minutes short walk right to the beach i stayed in a non powered site and spots are spaced out nicely so you can have some privacy! the owner came over shortly after i arrived and told me about the camp and was very nice! everything was very clean including the areas to park!

Charming, quiet and peaceful campsite!! Absolutely lovely unpowered sites nestled between trees and bushes, facilities are super clean and spacious (hot showers $2 for 5mins). A short walk to a stunning beach with a historic shipwreck! Lovely sound of the waves from the site, friendly kind owners and a beautiful calm vibe all round! Would recommend to anyone - so worth seeing this area of the beautiful west coast.

Lovely spot, only a couple minutes walk to the beach, plenty of spots and we were able to book online, but seems like you can call up on the day and they should have space. Staff were very friendly. Great kitchen facilities. $2 coin needed for 5 minute hot shower (free cold shower). Few sandflies in evening but not too bad!

11/05/2024 (onbevooroordeeld) geweldig verblijf op deze camping! mooie schone badkamers en douches, netjes gesneden gazon perfect voor onze tent, prachtige open haard om ons 's nachts warm te houden.

Fantastisch kamp op een prachtig strand / rivier mond. Veel open ruimte, schone en nette faciliteiten. Nieuwe managers doen een fantastisch werk. Houten vuurbad ook beschikbaar , zal terugkomen voor een duik

Goede plek. Vriendelijk welkom. Faciliteiten zeer schoon. Mooi gebied. Is aanbevolen. Echter, geen betaling met Visa-kaart is mogelijk. 20 NZD per persoon en nacht.Schoeien en wassen op de top.

Geweldige en schone plek. Fair prijs voor het hoogseizoen. Unpowered 2 volwassenen 36$.

We verbleven een nacht in de regen. Iedereen maakte ons zo welkom en alle faciliteiten waren ongelooflijk schoon en goed onderhouden. Bedankt voor Tony en Di (en Dad) in de pub - wat een geweldige plek! Smaakte whitebait patties (we wisten niet over het whitebait festival!) en we waren enthousiast.

Best place ever hosts were amazing thank you will be recommending to friends and family in the future and we will difffenlty will be back
