This is a beautifully maintained park that truly has everything you need. The kids had a fantastic time exploring the creeks, walking the trails, feeding the birds in the afternoon, and riding on the mini bike track. Spanning 100 acres, there’s plenty to see and do. Reception and amenities are conveniently located in a central area, making everything easily accessible. We couldn’t fault our recent stay — highly recommended!

Paid per person fee for unpowered. Also have to pay on top for a 5 minute hot shower. Lots of space. No drinking water. Pretty expensive for what you get compared to others around.

Great stay, had a powered site and was surprised to also have water. Showers and toilets were continually being cleaned. Very quiet even though it was busy. Price was very reasonable. Will be visiting again.

Reasonable park but due to the drought it was really dusty. This didn’t stop the crowds though, the place was packed! (May long weekend 2019). You need your own wood as the place has been picked clean and with everyone having fires it got really smoky on the still cold nights. There was a good vibe though and lovely scenery along the way.

Sept 2019. Excellent stay. Prices rising. May be new management, may be drought. Added facilities are good for peak season camping. Great swimming hole.

1-3-19 Weekend. Family of 7 from Wynnum. 1st timers. Lovely people running the grounds. Decent enough amenities. Loads of space surrounded by mountains and the river. Great water hole. We will be back to relax some more. Thank you.

Had a lovely, relaxing time at Bigriggen in November 2018. New owners were very helpful and said they had plans to improve the amenities- add more toilet/shower blocks. Our group of 14 ladies from ‘Rolling Solo’ really enjoyed 3 nights at Bigriggen. A storm was brewing so the owner gave us the key to the disused recreation hall in case we needed shelter. We swam in the refreshing waterhole and just enjoyed the cool breezes. Will stay again definitely. November 2018

Hooray the cobwebs have gone. Kudos to the new cleaners. The new owners are keeping the grass mowed and the camp tidy.

We use to go but new managers no good pay extra for shower full of cobwebs and they charge for day visitors. The managers clean the place up and people will return but as is not again
