When I drove out to this place in Nov 25 I found gravel road fine in my 2wd van but couldnt enter campground as had a sloping rutted entry & sign stating 4wd only yet that was not on flyer for campsites I got from tourist office. Luckily I could turn around as tree down over road just after entry. I walked down in the rain to check out grounds: no campers & grass long but fast flowing river was impressive. I hope entry is improved & info centre told as it would be a relaxing place to stay.

Elsket denne campingplassen. Vakkert sted, elva hele veien rundt, et fint sted for en dip eller en padle. Lang smussvei å komme inn, men veldig praktisk i en 2WD. Ingen telefonsamtaler, mange stedvalg med peiser. Elsket det her

Fantastisk godt holdt camping steder mange steder slik at du kan camp bort fra andre men vi hadde alle steder til oss selv. Signage sier 4wd tilgang men det er en ondartet vei hele veien super lett. Hvis du tar din tid på veien så enkelt ta en caravan hele veien til slutten.

Roads reopened again! Amazing spot

The road is closed, cause of the bushfires. Too bad.

Beautiful! We drove a 2WD that is high on it's wheels, so no problems for us while driving the gravel road. Not suitable for every car.. You camp next to the river, allowed to make a little campfire, the stars were so clear and at night we heard the dingo's howling. Real camping!

It’s a real nice place in the middle of nowhere. Take in mind that you have to cross a 14km gravel road what is not suitable for every car....
