Beautiful location facing the sea. Free from October 1st until April. Watch out for the hermit crab in the evening.
Need to be self sufficient Not many toilets for the size of the camping area. Book and pay fees at the Karratha visitors centre. Good road in from the highway.
Awesome spot right on the beach ☺️
Great place to stay. Paid per night. Great views. Drop toilets available but quite a distance away from each other. Highly recommend if you want some peace and quiet
A paid beach-side campground. 13 km variably corrugated dirt road from the NW Coastal Highway. Good facilities. Marked camp sites in the main campground with more isolated sites also available. No shade and the ground is a little uneven. Facilities include a well maintained drop toilet, dump point and bins. Good Telstra and Optus reception but no TV. Maximum stay during peak season is 28 days. No water so bring your own. Scenic views to beach and hills. Close to Karratha for fuel, food and water.
Nice park with lots of space and beach. Free in the off season. Toilets and trash cans on site. The only negative, there were a lot of midges / sandflys. I am totally "bitten". And a lot of them fly. Just put it together in the morning and go.
Free for this time of year. Great views however... The toilet is just a long drop toilet and Stinks! Thousands of ants that actually managed to make there way into our rooftop tent through the night. Even more midgeys! The worst I have seen travelling both the east and west coast yet! No water facilities so make sure the bring your own!
