Surprised by the negative comments. The welcome was friendly and the sites are a good size. Amenities are really good: nice hot showers, a large kitchen, and everything is clean. Very quiet at night. Honestly, a perfect place to stay in Picton.

The owner was very rude. When we wanted to check in, he told me that we still had to pay. As we already put our payment details in while booking I was skeptical and said that I wanted to check my banking app first if nothing had been charged (because all the other times I had booked a campsite it was that way). He then responded that we could drive to the next campsite if I didn’t trust him and just walked out of the room. Even though there was nothing charged I found his behavior very rude.

Excellent service. I made a last-minute booking because I was crossing by ferry at the last minute, and they reserved a very comfortable and warm cabin for me. When I called to explain that we would be arriving on the last-minute ferry, they said it was very understandable and not to worry, that they would leave the keys next to the main office. It's also worth mentioning that the showers had wonderfully hot water, the laundry service was spectacular with a washer and dryer, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

Infrastructure is bit old otherwise it was nice place to stay. Wifi was not free. Bathrooms, kitchen, fresh water to refill, waste dump, power site all facilities were good. Beautiful morning view, we enjoyed when train was crossing over.

As already mentioned, the infrastructure is a bit outdated, but everything was very clean. Showers were freshly painted and hot. The kitchen and appliances were clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for two nights for hiking. At €20 per night, it was perfectly fine. Many campsites in Germany cost more.

Min bestilling ble bekreftet, en hytte med dusj / toalett / TV / håndklær / hårføner. Ved ankomst sa de at det var en programvarefeil, bare grunnleggende hytter var tilgjengelig, og programvareproblemer kunne ikke løses. Dette ser ut til å være en forretningsmodell: et billig tilbud, og ved ankomst blir du tilbudt en hytte med ingenting. Hytta stinker forferdelig av stående sigarettrøyk, og det felles toalettet stinker også av sigaretter.

Godt sted å tilbringe en natt, men ikke mer, litt utdatert infrastruktur og ingen gratis wifi!

vår ferge fra den nordlige øya ankom kl. 11:45 og vi ringte på ettermiddagen hvis vi kunne sjekke inn at sent, sa de bare å rock opp og plukke opp et sted og betale neste morgen - som fungerte perfekt bra for oss og vi var takknemlige for en enkel 5 minutters kjøretur fra fergen. du kan høre toget tidlig om morgenen og dusjene / kjøkkenet / badet er ganske kjørt ned, men greit for en natt / ferge løsning:)
