Nice place and funny kiwi statue, nice Little area for an icecream. The statue is opposite to the Big kiwi signboard next to 4square.

Nice place to take a break from driving. Besides the giant kiwi, there are also free toilets and a supermarket.

Every small town in New Zealand needs its “draw” for tourists - Eketahuna’s happens to be a giant kiwi statue. Fun for a photo op if you happen to be on the road passing through. Pay no mind to the ‘giant disappointment’ comments. If you get that upset about amusing little leg-stretching stops along the way, your travels must be a big barrel of no fun. Smile and enjoy the quirky moments along the way - the giant Kiwi being one of them ?
