The Ninety mile beach drive way has 4 gates. And the access from this gate is a private road. There is a gate closed and big sign that the road is a private. I went back to take Hukatere Hill entrance to drive on the beach. It was amazing!

Just awesome. We started 2 hours before low tide. With a ford transit no problem. Be aware of the tides times. Enjoy.

Highly recommended! Just take your vehicle to this unique highway and yell “POWER!” like Jeremy Clarkson as you drive down this awesome beach.

Really long - Miami feeling with good weather. Driving past the exit spot only if you want to go to the camping spot. That one looks really nice. 4x4 recommended

Amazing drive ? just one tip for all the rental cars: your company WILL know it when you drove here. You can literally smell it, and see it, under the car. So be aware of that ?

Do not take this entrance! Go over a private street!

Not good for a big camper van - of course not ... But with a normal car or a little camper van no problems. It's a great feeling cruising at the beach and it's pretty cool! ? But be careful with the flood and take some information of the tide. The water is very fast. ?????
