Typical DOC camp. You pay a lot and get nearly nothing. Million of sanflies!

A beautiful campsite in the fjordlands with loads of sandflies. Robbie the doc ranger warmly welcomed us and warned us for the Kea 's that were likely to search for stuff to destroy at night. Our neighbours awoke with 2 holes in their tent thanks to the Kea. Still: it is a truly beautiful place and a way cheaper option then sleeping in the huts.
