Great pool. It’s clean as the water in it changes at almost every high tide. We went there twice and met a group of locals who come here often for a swim. Very handy as you cannot swim at low tide in this bay.

This is so cool. Didn’t swim in it but the idea is awesome. Definatly worth checking out

Empty pool at the moment. I guess it fills when water level rises in sea. It’s just a concrete pool in and out auto drainage from ocean.

It is a simple wooden construction around an even simpler square concrete pool. The pool was filled even during low tide. I'd rather swim in one of NZ's lakes, rivers or the sea instead of this absolutely non inviting dirty-water pool. Not worth it to go there. Only if you're going for a walk and it's more or less in your way.

The tide was low when I visited. But you get the idea. Would be great on a hot summer day.

Pretty good if you're anyway because you can look at the time but not worth a separate trip.

It's just an old outdated concrete pool..
