Mye plass og i stand til å finne selv bakken i parkeringsplassen. Nord var stengt, så vi bodde i sør. Veldig vind / mye snø gjennom natten. Det var for mye sky dekning om morgenen for å virkelig ha noen form for utsikt. Hvis du kan våge snøen og den kalde, fint sted å bo. Hvis skyene er borte, ville det være fantastisk sted og verdt begrenset søvn (bc av vind) Føles veldig trygt selv

This spot offers a beautiful view with plenty of space and a pretty clean bathroom. Only thing to be aware of is that since it’s on a plateau, it can get pretty windy, so we ended up heading back down to the spot lower into the trees for the night since the wind was pretty strong when we were here.

The best parking place around Mt. Taranaki. Quiet and with a nice view for the sunset and the sunrise. Perfect place to start the walk to reach the top of the mountain
