Et veldig kult sted å bo!! Vi parkerte opp for 2 netter rett på klippen og hadde det alt for oss selv. Du kan gå ned til stranden og sjekke ut grottene som er neste nivå! Veldig vennlige lokalbefolkningen og ganske fiskersamfunnet, ridende rundt på sine quad sykler og trekke i sine nett. Det er vind, men det spiller ingen rolle som plasseringen erstatter vinden. Du kan ha hunder her også.

Cave beach is destroyed by cyclone gabrielle. But beautiful little caves are accessable via long beach during low tide.

Cave Beach was absolutely unreal. Have lived in NZ 28 years and this is up there with a favorite for me, especially at sunset.

Wonderful place ! Surely one of our favorites on the North Island. Black sand beach with lots of cellars in the cliffs. Do not hesitate to walk along the beach to the east, it's the most beautiful! As a previous comment, another version of Cathedral Cove in much wilder and much less tourists. It's definitely worth it!

Very nice place to go for a walk on the beach. Black sand and cave dug by the sea !! nice and very few people. Possibility to sleep on the spot!
