Privat sted, rolig og uten lys. Det kan være litt skremmende om natten. bodde 1 natt og det var bare 1 van. Det er midt i ingensteds og ganske langt unna en by.

Ingen toaletter, bo på Waihaha DOC gratis campingplass nedover veien i stedet - toaletter, matlagingsområde og vaskemaskine, pluss masse plass.

Vi bodde over en natt og det var veldig stille. Følg tegnene for kraftstasjonen og du vil finne det ikke noe problem.

Very quiet peacefully spot for a night's stopover. Directions and GPS cordinates not quite right. Instead of driving straight ahead when you get to the last intersection via towards the right, sign says Rangipo Power Station

Quiet it feels good to be alone on a spot. With snow! :-)

This site is 500 Mtrs or so past the main campground but not marked well. After passing the main signposted camp area beside the stream, turn left into a road that stops at a power station. There seem to be a few holes in the forest right next to the stream. Wonderful clear water. Shade and sun where required .
