Ankommet om natten i mørket, vanskelig å se ting, men det var mye plass. Noen hunder barking, men det var det. Toalett rent, brukte ikke dusjen. Bortsett fra at hovedsakelig regnet så ikke se mye, det var ok i regnet hvis du tenker på hvor du parkerer.
Stor plass på bredden av innsjøen, kan man lett finne et sted i det stille. Tørre toaletter og varm dusj veldig verdsatt. Noen få rom med skjulte bord. Et sted å anbefale !!
Wonderful freedom campground!Beautiful view and atmosphere. Easy to get the permit and there is FREE HOT SHOWER! Love it!

Stayed there many times ,lovely area.. oh a btw , it's where many of the scenes from the Yogi Bear movie were shot
Lovely spot even in the pouring rain! Really peaceful, loads of space too. Long drip toilets. Council did a rubbish run first thing in the morning. Would definitely stay again 😊 Apply for a free permit with South Waikato Council.
En slik herlig sted! Drop toaletter, varme dusjer, bbq områder, vakker natur, mye plass for alle. Få tillatelsen er veldig enkelt. Takk for at du gjør det mulig å bo her!
Incredible free camping - such beautiful scenery, lots of space, close to the calm waters. The hot shower was such a gorge bonus! Very grateful this place exists.

Lots of space for campers, the toilets were average but that is to be expected over New Year’s Eve, best to bring toilet paper if staying around this time of year as it goes fairly quickly with multiple groups of people. The toilets were cleaned every day which was a bonus, there was a large skip bin as well for any rubbish to help people be tidy kiwis
