Was a decent place to stay on our way to Auckland from Taranaki. I paid while in a not so great service zone and did not get a confirmation booking number and we had to unfortunately pay a second time. The bathrooms were clean enough and we appreciated hot showers after a long day. Not much of a campground more so a gravel lot.

Nice and easy to find, owner was lovely and facilities were clean. Cafe shut at 3pm which was the only negative.

Nice place with a nice sunset on the mountains. Hot shower and clean amenities. Owner friendly and talkative, a really nice experience !

The campground was very nice including hot showers and toilets. However, the manager of it was very rude right from the beginning on and was only coming to us when he wanted to collect his “money,money,money” as he used to say or when he wanted to complain about something. In addition, he was very awkward to women, so, I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here. Unacceptable behaviour!!!

Hadde den beste tiden på denne campingplassen, var verten (Alan) så vennlig og imøtekommende. $12pp men inkluderer WiFi, toaletter og varme dusjer.

Vi hadde en veldig god opplevelse! Eieren var en av de fineste menneskene vi møtte i New Zealand og kom for å sjekke opp på oss flere ganger, og også bare for å snakke. Han var bare en slik søt fyr. Vi bodde bare for en natt så jeg trengte ikke dusjen så jeg ikke si noe om det.

What can I say… probably the worst camp ever created in NZ. The owner, on the one hand racist, on the other hand embittered, spent his evening watching us, even threatening us so that we would go to bed. The next morning, he asked us several times not to forget our trash, as if we were going to leave and leave our trash behind. Surveillance worthy of Moscow in the USSR, and unacceptable racism. I don't recommend it at all, go to the next town, you will be better received there.

Great place to stay! Only 8 dollars per person. Super friendly host and clean toilets.

Camping her er 8 dollar, ikke 6. Hvis du vil dusje den andre 8 dollar og det er kaldt. Ellers en veldig vennlig fyr som overvåker alt! Ville bo her igjen, men villent betale for dusjen igjen.
