Brilliant little spot, a bit of a windy/gravelly road to get to it but it’s nice and quiet. Drop toilet is okay. No amazing view but good for a night. Make sure you check your email and keep the code they send you for the padlock

This is a great little hideaway! Eating area, washing up area and a non flush toilet. Great phone reception on NZ 2degrees! There is a gravel track for about 7kms and the roads have a lot of bends but not the worst! Would recommend staying! Lastly the gate is a little annoying I never received the gate code, to unlock the gate so what I did was, book online via Auckland Council website and rang there phone number - 09-301-0101 gave them my confirmation number and they gave me the code!

Zatrzymaliśmy się tutaj pod koniec maja, byliśmy jedynymi, którzy tam byli. Wzięli około 20 minut drogi w dół błoto / żwir do miejsca. Świetna lokalizacja, jeśli planujesz korzystać z ścieżek spacerowych, około godziny spacerem do Piha, w przeciwnym razie tylko małe pole w środku niczego. Toaleta czysta i zaopatrzona w rolkę loo. Wysyłają ci e-mailem kod dla bramy, aby dostać się do środka, trzeba dać zamek trochę wiggle / push, aby otworzyć.

Ok, jeśli masz powód, aby tam być, inaczej wydać 44 i zejść na wzgórze do Piha.

Wystarczająco dobre miejsce na jedną noc, trzeba zarezerwować i jest bardzo ograniczona recepcja w obozie i droga do niego.
