Cute and quiet campsite and cabins away from the noise and lights of town. Facilities were exceptionally clean and tidy, despite not being very modern. Only a small number of sites with limited lighting. So nice and quiet. If you want a packed in, busy and lit up campsite don't come here. We had the campsite to ourselves in early May. Looked like lots of work has been recently done on the facilities, newly painted, very new fridge in kitchen, so older reviews may not be accurate.

Pretty fine campsite for a cheap overnight stay in Hanmer. Lady at reception was lovely and introduced us to her very cute dog ☺️ campsite itself was extremely dark and a little creepy, couldn't navigate it without a torchlight and kept getting a bit lost/freaked out. Toilets good, no payment for shower as other campers have said, cheap washing but requires $2 coin.

Wspaniały przystanek za nie-samobójstwo / kemping 20 $ na noc, który obejmuje udogodnienia kuchenne (minus garnki itp), jak dostać skradziony, ale ma mikrofalowa zamrażarka itp do użytku, wrząca woda, darmowe gorące prysznice, toalety, a nawet pranie i suszenie prania tylko za 4 $!

Po 40 dniach wynajmu w vanie, to miejsce obciążyło nas dwukrotnie więcej niż jakikolwiek inny park wakacyjny na południowej wyspie, jeden dorosły i 4 dzieci, pani nalegała, że muszę zapłacić za dwóch dorosłych w wysokości 25 dolarów każdy i 20 dolarów każdy dla innych trzech dzieci, ....powiedziała, że da mi świetne miejsce dla dzieci, to było na drodze wejścia do obozu, gdzie większość ruchu było ..... kuchnia miała i stary piekarnik , jedna mikrofalówka i naprawdę mały lodówka i zamrażarka (aby pomieścić co najmniej 80 miejsc)..... nie miał wody pitnej i żadnych udogodnień do wrzenia wody, jak Billie był odłączony i żaden kotłak dostępny .... zaoferofiarował nam 2 butelki wody dla

What a lovely place. Quiet, slightly older accommodation but neat. Very friendly welcome! 10 minutes walk to the entrance of the forest. Half an hour on foot to the center with the spa.

New owners here and they’re really friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful spot and facilities are basic but clean, campers not jammed in. Would definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay for, which is not much, in both respects. Stayed new years eve and the toilet/kitchen facilities were inadequate for the number of campers. Would come back, but only in off-season when quieter

Super friendly and very lovely owners. Amenities were slightly dated but spotlessly clean and functional. Very much enjoyed our stay

If I wanted a cold shower, to cook at my van (because the kitchen is too small and overcrowded), to use my chilly bin (bc the one fridge is full), and no electricity to charge anything, I would have stayed at one of the free campsites. Unpowered section desperately needs its own kitchen and bathroom. Everyone in the kitchen was complaining.
