We wanted to stay here but when we arrived it looked like an abandoned trailerpark. A lot of old campers with the curtains closed standing side by side. It was raining and we thought it was a bit spookey so did not stay here. We stayed at the campground next to this one (great stay!) And while we stayed there, we saw 2 other vans drive up to the other campground and turn around as well.

We went to the first campsite on this road...Mac Gregor and it was nice! The lake was nice and there are clean toilets. There is no drinking water only rainwater. We walked the track that started 2 km away from the campsite and it was beautiful.

Lovely drive to and location by the lake. Very nice lady on site cleaning the loos but we didn’t need to use them as we are self contained. Not expensive for the location , very quiet, chilled vibe and peaceful and great breakfast on picnic bench overlooking the water. Very easy to get to and so much better than the freedom site on the road just outside Tekapo which looked souless. No issue or even aware of permanent residents who are in a different section. We did have phone signal.

Avoid at all costs! $15 per person for absolutely no services, just a dry toilet with no toilet paper, no water, no showers, no internet connection. It's just a parking lot; the only positive point is the nice view of the small lake.

Very quiet and peacful but not spooky, beautiful view. Basic toilets, no water, some light in the toilets during night. Awesom place when you want get away from the busy Lake Tekapo. No cellular receiption

Dziwne wibracje, wydawało się, że jest to tylko kilka miejsc do parkowania. Piękny widok, bardzo cichy. Bardzo dziwne wibracje z stałymi mieszkańcami i karawanami. Prawie czuję się tam niechciany. Miłe miejsce do zobaczenia i warto sprawdzić. Nie było moje wibracje, ale. Czułem się, jeśli zrobiłem hałas lub coś złego, zostałem wyrzucony.

Co za wspaniałe miejsce na pobyt, z dala od bałaganu jeziora Tekapo! Spędziliśmy jedną noc w tym niesamowitym miejscu, pod pięknym nocnym niebem. Byliśmy całkowicie sami. Tak spokojny, za tylko 20$. Uwielbialiśmy to ! Toalety są ładne i czyste, z papierem toaletowym.

Piękne miejsce z pięknym widokiem na jezioro. Jak inni wspomnieli, jest to w rzeczywistości kemping na jeziorze McGregor. Kilka stałych karawanów na miejscu, ale mnóstwo miejsca dla kempingów z dość wysokimi miejscami grzbietu. Toalety są całkiem dobre dla drop loos i oczyszczacz rąk jest dostępny, musisz jednak przynieść własną rolkę loo. Będziesz potrzebował gotówki za pudełko uczciwości, w wysokości $ 10 za głowę była to lepsza wartość niż większość witryn DOC, w których przebyliśmy i znacznie ładniejsza imo.

Got tutaj później w ciągu dnia i nadal dużo miejsca! Fantastyczny widok na jezioro i niesamowite gwiazdy w nocy! Losy są pachnące i potrzebujesz własnego loo rolki. Ale jest woda do mycia itp nie do picia. Istnieją stałe mieszkańcy, ale są one z obozu nie są w pobliżu nich. Każde miejsce ma świetny widok bardzo polecam!
