A truly beautiful location, right on the lake, with plenty of space and a fantastic view. Absolutely fantastic. The owner is very warm and welcoming. The glowworms nearby are fascinating. The toilets and showers are clean, so no problem. We had no major problems getting there with our campervan (3.60 m wide and 7.80 m long). It is quite narrow for about 800 meters, though, so it's a good idea to call ahead to avoid oncoming traffic.

W drodze do kempingu odkryliśmy, że droga jest zamknięta i nie zostanie ponownie otwarta przez kolejne trzy godziny. Po skontaktowaniu się z kempingiem, aby anulować naszą rezerwację, nie zaoferowali żadnej pomocy. Recepcjonista nie miał zamiaru anulować rezerwacji i był całkowicie niezadowolony. Musimy poczekać gdzieś, aż droga zostanie ponownie otwarta. Na szczęście znaleźliśmy inny kemping.

Fantastyczna lokalizacja, jednak blok toaletowy i w mniejszym stopniu blok prysznicowy był brudny. Zatrzymaliśmy się na trzy noce, po przyjeździe toaleta i bloki prysznicowe były brudne. Używany gips był na moczu, gdy go opuściliśmy, nadal tam był, bez wysiłku, aby oczyścić podczas naszego pobytu. Nazywa się Eco Village, czy to znaczy, że nie używają produktów do czyszczenia lub wody?

Beautifully placed. Friendly staff. A couple of nice walks. And beautiful place to just sit and breath. And swim. And see glowworms. 2 things: 1. The gravel road down there is very narrow. 2. If you request an unpowered site for your campervan, remember to state in your booking that tou sleep in your vehicle and not in a tent.

Beautifully located and isolated campsite. Glowworms and phosphorescent algae in the water made the place feel magical. The road there is pretty rough, and I would not go here in a large motorhome. It was a bit hard to find a level spot for the van. Hot showers were $2 for 4 minutes and coins could be bought at the dairy onsite. Showers could use a cleaning but was functional and the water was hot. The lack of shiny new facilities was 100% made up for by the atmosphere at this campsite

Piękny kemping z bardzo przyjaznymi właścicielami. Możesz wynająć kajaki i SUP i, z odrobiną szczęścia, zobaczyć gwiazdy. W nocy, woda świeci, a tam są niezliczone fajerwerki. Dla nas, jedno z najbardziej magicznych miejsc w Nowej Zelandii.

The view is amazing , but we spent the night there with our camper van and the road is very challenging for a big van. The toilets and showers are disgusting and even the kitchen was during not clean in the evening. It is ok if you are staying one night but not recommendale for longer stays.

Lovely setting and welcoming owners. Showers/ toilets/ kitchen all clean. Kayaking around the bay in the day was great and the glow worms and Phosphorescence waters was a real highlight to our trip.
