Ogromny kemping z gładką trawą na poziomie. Można dostać boggy po silnym deszczu, ale jest twardy grunt przed trawnym obszarem. Spędziliśmy 2 loty 3 nocy tutaj, a maksymalnie było 10 innych pobytów. Nie zapomnij zarezerwować online przed przyjazdem, nie ma sygnału telefonicznego.

Zamknięte na zimę! Wczoraj wycofane, zarezerwowane, nic na stronie internetowej, po przejściu przez ten mały most i zamknięte bramy! Nazwany DOC, po podłączeniu Starlink, ponieważ nie ma tutaj sygnału telefonicznego, popełnili błąd umożliwiający rezerwacje, jest oficjalnie zamknięty na zimę (zalecany przez NZMCA). Most! Oy vey! Jesteśmy 14 metrów w sumie, przytłoczeni i zajęło mi to trzy próby haha! Możliwe jednak, gdy jest otwarte!! Bardzo mała powierzchnia, aby obrócić się, chociaż jeśli bramy są zamknięte, więc sprawdź najpierw! TASMANTRAVELS

To jest bardzo ładne. Ale trochę mylące. Na miejscu doc wszystko jest w porządku. Przed kempingiem jest znak, że jest zamknięty z powodu kradzieży. Ale oprócz tego wszystko inne wydaje się być w porządku. Nie ma absolutnie żadnego sygnału. Zarezerwowaliśmy zanim tam dotrzemy. To wszystko trawa, więc z ciężkim biegiem opony nie będą miały dobrego uchwytu.

One of the best camping places, I have had so far because it was so quiet and in the middle of nature. But there is no Internet or signal.

Freshly mown grass and overall the site is very well presented. Despite the size it’s a quiet spot with only a few campers on a Friday night. Not sure why as it’s a beautiful spot. Bit of a hidden gem.

Got there pretty late due to delayed ferry but managed to pull up to a massive site and pitch up our rooftop tent and had a very quiet sleep. Flush toilets and water you can boil. $20 for 2 cash only.

Really beautiful large site. Only 2 other campers there. Flush toilets and running water. Secluded and peaceful. Bird song by day, silent starry skies by night. Soft grass, no mud when we were there mid January.

What a great spot! As described by others… too big an area to get busy, sunny and shady options, nice amenities, beauty river, no prob with bugs. Most birdsong I’ve heard in upper SI.
