Super nice spot and very friendly hosts. I was the only van there. It was ok wirh the sandflies. I expected worse. But no signal.

It's worth to 8,8kms of road gravel. Yes there are sandflies, many (as often) but it is super nice, it's quiet, it's clean, there's sort of drinking water ... 10 $ with shower. It is recommendable!

Extremely long reach supper consists gröstenteils from you since ca sand fly a million eat you - really annoying toilet no reception but and showers are clean and warm peng

$7 for camping only $10 with the shower and $18 for kitchen and everything else. Really nice place, isolated and peaceful. But it's full of sandflies … so don't come without your repellent and wear pants, shoes and à long leaves t-shirt ! There's a nice fireplace but the owner didn't allowed us to use it ...

Sandflies hell !!! If you want to seat inside your car untill dark, than it's maybe a nice campground.

$ 7 / person for camping toilets. $ 10 / person if you want to take a hot shower. $ 18 / person if you want to use all the Youth Hostel facilities (kitchen, laundry). The campground is located about 150m from the house. Isolated, near a river. Bcp sandflies! Access by a gravel road: the owner vs. asked to gently roll because the neighbors complain of the dust generated by campers. Not too far from Takaka.
