The spot itself is good. Nice view over the lake and a working toilet (without paper, bring your own). Unfortunately we were harassed by the kids with the water filled balloons as well. Thx for the warning. Still, wasn’t very nice. We decided to stay, they came twice as well with an hour pause in between. Not a very relaxing stay for us though the rest of the night was quiet.

Woda miała dziwny smak (tak jak na stacji śmieci) i była bardzo wietrzna. Jednak około dziewięciu wieczorem, grupa około sześciu dzieci znudziła się i zaczęła atakować balonami wodnymi i bić na samochód. Po drugiej rundzie antyków, postanowiłem przenieść się do parkingu Opunake Recreation Ground w centrum miasta, gdzie było cicho.

The toilet is still under construction, so right now it's not a very comfortable place to spend the night.

The toilet was demolished on 23rd Feb 2026 and is currently being rebuilt.

A lovely, quiet spot right by the lake and not far from the beach. The toilet had no light, but it was clean and in good condition. The internet was also good. According to the sign, there are six pitches, not just three.

Chill place to stop next to a lake with duckies and so on. Houses about so you feel safe as. Walk down to the beach in 10 min. Rhe pub 5 min walk a great place to hang with locals. Super friendly. Get some!

Great place for NSC enjoyed my stay

Bardzo dobre miejsce na wolny kemping, czyste toalety i wodę pitną.

Piękne miejsce dla NSC tuż przy jeziorze. toaleta Flush miała toaletę, ale nie było mydła ani światła i była też fontanna.
