Only 4 spots so arrive early, we stayed one night late April and were the 3rd spot at around 4pm! All 4 full by 7pm. Quiet location, felt safe, police were around on the morning but no bother they seemed to be checking things were quiet? Robo toilet other end of the car park, open during daylight hours. Nice reserve and bike tracks nearby. Good view of Kapiti Island

Great place to stay, very calm and quiet during the night (even on a saturday night). Locals were friendly and had a chat. We had a stunning sunset and saw some beautiful birds. There was a clean toilet which even played music haha.

Very lovely campsite with a clean robo-toilet nearby! The toilet appeared to be closed after 8pm.

Pretty cool spot, decent toilets. Only problem, some local kids came up to us to tell us that at 8pm people would come and ask us for money to stay on the pitch. Of course it's false and it was meant to scare us, but we left because we didn't want to be bothered and disturbed during the evening.

Bardzo czyste miejsce. Przybyliśmy o 6pm i było puste. 4 miejsca za darmo Campersite. A toalety są przy wejściu.

Trochę niegrzeczne może, ale po 8 tygodniach kempingu na wolność w Nowej Zelandii, to było moje ulubione miejsce! Zatrzymałem się dwa razy - raz pod koniec lutego, a następnie ponownie na początku kwietnia. w lutym przyjechałem o godz. 1:00, a 4 miejsca były pełne o godz. 5; w kwietniu nadal były wolne miejsca przez całą noc. Jest absolutnie niesamowite spacerować, patrząc na rzekę, estuary, a następnie morze po drugiej stronie piaszczystych dun. Zachody słońca za wyspą Kapiti są nierealne. uwielbiam to tutaj tak bardzo!

Dobrą i na pewno lepszą alternatywą jest plaża Otaki.
