Po 30 minutach rozmowy telefonicznej z uroczą osobą w Auckland City Council, parkach i rekreacji, pomogła mi dokonać rezerwacji i porozmawiała ze mną za pośrednictwem ich strony internetowej. Toalety były czyste, psy rangers były bardzo entuzjastyczne, a tuis były w pełnym lotu. Zaparkowane na płaskiej powierzchni za głównym budynkiem, niestety bez widoku, ale spokojne.

Istnieją 2 miejsca SCC, 1 sezon letni i 1 zima, ten ostatni jest za HQ bldg, pierwszy jest grawerowany obszar w dół na mieszkaniach w pobliżu Blackberry Flat Camp. Sprawdź mapę ARP (za pośrednictwem linku w sekcji "Kontaktuj się") dla lokalizacji sezonu letniego. Brak znaków! System rezerwacji PITA i każdy pax ARP powie ci coś innego. Zbuduj się, zanim zadzwonisz. Wytrwaj. ? ~ Puriri Grove chodzenie & Waharau Bush chodzenie bardzo warte. Park jest kredytem dla personelu.

This is the parking lot behind the information center. Take the little road to the left hand side. There is no signage indicating you can camp there and no one on the phone at the reservation line has ANY clue where to find it. But this is it. Small quiet gravel parking lot next to cow pasture with water tap and clean bathrooms. As a note: Reservation system is absolutely miserable. Worst way to pay for a campsite of any I have experienced in NZ.

Nothing is indicated for the winter. Super clean toilet place and plenty of space then an open space available. Cool !

Excellent place to spend a couple of days - good walking tracks (short to long trips), quiet, lovely and a very pleasant place.

Beautiful area well maintained grounds. Not very clear on where you can park, astonished that it was deserted when the very average top 10 campground further down the road was full. The lack of people gave it an eerie feeling, couldn't help but think that it is a very under utilised resource maybe this is because the lack of clarity on the booking and payments (the same can be said for the other regional park campgrounds in the area).
