Piękne miejsce do oglądania gwiazd i odłączenia. Spokojny i cichy, bez sygnału telefonicznego. Ostatnie 2 km dostępu do drogi jest grzbiet z kilkoma otworami, ale motorhome jest w porządku, po prostu trzeba jeździć powoli.

Zrobił wycieczkę na dzień, aby zrobić ścieżkę spacerową Rimu. Bardzo przyjemny spacer. Droga nie była zbyt zła, ale uważaj, nie jest zbyt daleko na metalowej drodze. Nie zatrzymaliśmy się, ale kemping wygląda bardzo spokojnie, a toalety wyglądały całkiem dobrze. To tylko wstyd zobaczyć grupę młodych ludzi wstać i zniszczyć teren, robiąc skody w swoich pojazdach i wspomagając się do jednego z bloków toalet i spryskiwać go błotem z ich pojazdem.

Good campsite, quiet, decent toilets, great for a camp fire. A nice stream along the side of site. Do be prepared for a pothole adventure, long gravel road to reach the site with many deep potholes.

Decent enough campsite, pitches set out well, but the 3km gravel road to reach it was one of the worst I’ve ever driven on, potholes over 1ft deep in places cover the track. Also lots of litter around, description says about rubbish bins around but I couldn’t see any?

Awesome spot, highly recommend the Rimu walk. Took us about 45 mins with a few rests and time at the top lookout area Long drop toilets were clean and didn’t smell, there was toilet paper when we were there but we had our own anyway. Got quite cold overnight so make sure you’re prepared! There are small fire circles at each campsite so worth bringing some firewood if you know how to safely manage a fire

Loved this spot and what a lovely walk the Rimu track is. Huge Rimu a couple of windfall trees that made me appreciate their size

Quiet and not too far off the highway. It's a good halfway point between Auckland and Wellington. BYO toilet paper.

Awesome spot. We love getting away from the crowd and this is just the place. Nice dark nights for star gazing. Lovely little bush walk.
