Ce lieu nous a sauvé on était sur un spot en bord de plage avec de gros rafales… on a cherché jusqu’à 22h et on a trouvé ce spot merci!! Option toilette

It wasn’t too busy when we were visiting. Great spot with toilets. The sunset on the beach was absolutely stunning!

Quiet off the hwy, long drop, parked up on designated bitumen parking bays, feels safe.

A huge shout out to Frank the care taker Bruce and he's wife. They helped me out alot nice peaceful camp grounds and accommodate people would recommend to any one will be back. I couldn't ask for more from the grounds and the people who run it 10 out of 10

Sandra is a very friendly and welcoming host, she went over and beyond to show us around. Beautiful piece of land, our stay was incredibly peaceful. The showers have awesome water pressure, we highly recommend.

An amazing stay!!! Hot showers, clean toilets, all round great campsite. Laundry room, 2 pools, water park and bouncing pillow! On the last night they upgraded us from non-powered to a powered aight for no extra cost! $60 per night but it was well worth the money. Would definitely stay again

Closest public bathroom is about 13 minutes walk. Perfect phone reception. Just these three spaces. I was here in October quater past 6pm and got the last spot. So you have to be lucky. Street is close by so if you have troubles with noise I would probably not recommend.

My favourite free camp so far. Clean toilets with toilet paper, quiet, safe town. Highly recommend spending half a day in the hot pools for ultra decompression.

What a great place! Really friendly owner who was really helpful and fantastic view of Taranaki when it cleared. Fantastic site with excellent showers too! Good base for climbing the mountain.

So actually didn’t stay here but drove through thinking we would camp here the night! Don’t waste your time.. totally run down … and there are 3 suitable Freedom Camping Soyes on the way in ..

Stayed at slaty creek campsite (3 i think) it was a nice location and the creek was pretty. good overnight stop, wouldn’t stay there for longer personally!

sooo nice! toilets were a bit stinky but so worth it for the views and location. running rain water to wash dishes or wash hands and a byo water shower. loved it!

Très bon spot pour dormir avec une jolie vue sur le lac. Toilettes + signal téléphonique (peu être un peu lent) On est arrivées à 16h au mois d’octobre et il y avait encore de la place pour se gare.

We didn't sleep here because it was very loud and no bathroom that we could see. Love NZ ❤️

Ein wunderbarer Ort. Man muss ein wenig schauen wo die Plätze sind, aber das geht. Übernachtung direkt am Strand :)

Toller Ort! Bei gutem Wetter kann man wunderbar auf den Taranaki und den Ozean schauen. Wir hatten keine Probleme mit Ruhestörung.
