Nice campsite. Cold at night. Clean facilities and very nice owner. Walks are close by. Magnificent sunset... Recommended!
Friendly Staff, hot showers operated by coins, 2 coins/person provided at the reception and clean toilets. No camp kitchen except a barbecue area with no working lights. Very difficult to stay on a rainy day, specially for a Camper Van.
Nice camping. Not too crowded. Close to Dorrigo town. Friendly staff. Best amenities so far!
We received a very friendly welcome. It is a very good starting point for hikes. But the sanitary facilities can hardly be put into words. We didn't shower there. Normally we're not that sensitive, but it was pretty disgusting. Unfortunately, you don't have many alternatives up there.
Very friendly and great location if you want to see the national park. A bit expensive for the condition of the sanitary facilities. Because some spiders have made themselves comfortable there.
Despite the bad reviews this is actually a good en fine campsite. There are only 2 and a free one over here so is you'll have to make a choice choose this one. Yes this isn't like the newer modern campsite in AUS but it's just fine, clean facilities, nice and cozy camping with Max 30 places but very spacious. The owner is a nice sympathetic guy who loves motorcycles. 30$ for a night 2 persons and 16 amp powered. Only weird thing, showers are still payed with 20 penny coins for 5 minutes HOT shower (be careful with that) and the owner sad that he run out of coins so me and my girlfriend had only 5min each showering time cause no option to change money.
We were concerned about the bad reviews... This Park runs as Dorrigo Mountain Holiday Park now. The facilities are basic, but perfectly clean. No kitchen, but fire pits on each site and a bigger shared pit. Coin operated laundry and shower, but the owner gave us free coins for the showers and told us to come back for more. We paid 40$ for 4 for one night without power.
$ 30 for one night with electricity. No kitchen, no washing-up station, no wifi. Nicely manicured meadow. Shower / toilet old and not so clean. For this price it was ok, but it can't be more expensive either.
We were a bit afraid because of all the bad reviews but it wasn't that bad. Yes it is basic but it wasn't dirty. And the view in the morning was the best.
Very expensive for what it is! Dirty toilets! The campsite looks abandoned for years! The owner was still nice and came to help us clean the barbecue
