Grande acampamento no meio da natureza. Há apenas 8 campos, reserve com antecedência através do site do governo do Queensland. Os banheiros são incrivelmente limpos e completamente limpos, não há chuveiros, é apenas um acampamento de arbustos. Em apenas alguns minutos você pode chegar a várias trilhas de caminhadas curtas para a floresta tropical e para as plataformas de visualização de platypus. Também vimos tartarugas, kookaburras e lagartos de monitor. Só tínhamos recepção de células na própria Eungella, não aqui.

Lugar bonito, a estrada para chegar aqui era um pouco áspera em nossa casa de motor, mas nós fizemos isso.

Nós estivemos aqui em maio de 2024. Eungella significa terra nas nuvens. Então é úmido e vários graus mais frio do que em Mackay. Este é um bushcamp. Os locais são bastante próximos lado a lado e há apenas dois loos híbridos. Mas sentamos em nosso camper e observamos um platypus no rio através das janelas do carro. Isso compensa muito. No entanto, deixamos o mais cedo possível para encontrar um lugar seco e mais luxuoso.

Bonito acampamento, fácil de perceber os platípios e algumas belas florestas tropicais nas proximidades para observar as aves. também vimos alguns wallabies de rocha saltando perto do caminho Como este é um local de acampamento de parque, você precisa reservar isso com antecedência.

Wow! Toller Platz direkt am Fluss mit den Schnabeltieren. 3 Aussichtspunkte innerhalb 1km Entfernung zum Schnabeltier entdecken. Abfahrt könnte aufgrund der Steigung für sehr große Mobile schwierig sein.

It is a nice little camp with a lot to see around. We came in the afternoon and saw a few platypus from the viewing deck. It is a rainforest area so be aware that there are mosquitoes and leeches around. We did the walk in the morning and saw some platypus in the river again. For two people it was 14$.

Book in advance! No reception! Ranger come to check. Clean toilet :) In the middle of the nature, lots of animal noises, unfortunately lots of mosquitos and if you do the walk be careful about the leechs. They attacked my fiancé but we saw lots of birds and platypus :) Welcome to the rainforest.

We hadn't booked and the computer ?️ wasn't working due to the storm ⛈️ and the rain ☔️ ?️. Luckily a guard allowed us to stay anyway. Beautiful place by the river. We slept like kings. Not a sound except that of nature. Toilets ? clean. Watch out for black ? snakes Watch out ⚠️ leech ?. Tested for you it hurts and it bleeds. We saw plenty of platypus even from the deck. There are platforms set up to see them. You have to be patient. The best time: at sunrise ?. The light is fabulous. Pascal & Pascal ??

Lovely and peaceful spot. Toilets fine. Camp by the riverside for evening and morning wildlife: we saw platypus, turtles, an echidna and hunting kingfishers. Also heaps of fireflies just after sunset, and so many stars! Book in advance through government NP website.

Love this place, spotted cute platypus in the morning from our tent. We have our own hanging shower, we used boiled water to have hot shower. Be aware of the leeches when you walk into the rainforest across the river (they really love me, but not my hubby?).
